NOTICE:

This procedure includes the removal of small-head bolts. Refer to Small-Head Bolts of Basic Repair Hint to identify the small-head bolts.

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

3. REMOVE OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

Click here

4. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

Remove in this Direction

-

-

(1) Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

(2) Remove the clip from the engine oil level sensor.

(3) Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and engine oil level sensor from the engine balancer assembly.
