INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

HINT:

This check should be performed with the windshield washer motor and pump assembly installed to the windshield washer jar assembly.

(a) Fill the windshield washer jar assembly with washer fluid.

(b) Check that washer fluid flows from the windshield washer jar assembly.

OK:

Front Washer

Auxiliary Battery Connection

Specified Condition

A35-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

A35-2 (SW) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Washer fluid flows from the windshield washer jar assembly

Rear Washer (w/ Rear Wiper)

Auxiliary Battery Connection

Specified Condition

A35-2 (SW) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

A35-1 (B) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

Washer fluid flows from the windshield washer jar assembly

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.
