HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- The following procedure is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR

(1) Apply protective tape to the area as shown in the illustration.
(2) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
NOTICE:
Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.
(3) Using a moulding remover D, disengage the claws on the lower part of the outer mirror.
(4) Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
NOTICE:
Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.
(5) Using a moulding remover D, disengage the claws on the upper part of the outer mirror to remove the outer mirror.
(6) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(7) w/ Blind Spot Monitor System:
1. Disconnect the connector.

Park/Neutral Switch Circuit Short to Battery (P085012,P085014)
DESCRIPTION The engine stop and start ECU detects malfunctions by comparing the conditions of the shift position signal and NSW signal.
If a malfunction is detected, the engine stop and start ECU stores DTC P085012 or P085014.
