HINT:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR

w/ Blind Spot Monitor System

-

(1) Apply protective tape to the area as shown in the illustration.

(2) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

NOTICE:

Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.

(3) Using a moulding remover D, disengage the claws on the lower part of the outer mirror.

(4) Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

NOTICE:

Do not push the outer mirror with excessive force. Doing so may cause the actuator to come off or break the mirror surface.

(5) Using a moulding remover D, disengage the claws on the upper part of the outer mirror to remove the outer mirror.

(6) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(7) w/ Blind Spot Monitor System:

1. Disconnect the connector.

     Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit Short to Ground (P007011)

    DESCRIPTION The thermistor assembly is installed in front of the cooler condenser assembly to detect the ambient temperature, which is used to control the air conditioning system. This sensor is connected to the air conditioning amplifier assembly and detects fluctuations in the ambient temperature.
