HINT:
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
(1) Place the front seat assembly in the cabin as shown in the illustration.
NOTICE:
*A | for Driver Side |
*B | for Front Passenger Side |
(1) Connect the front seat airbag assembly connector under the front seat assembly.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
HINT:
Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector:

(2) Connect the connector.
(3) Engage the clamp.
(1) Insert the 2 location pins of the front seat assembly through the 2 body holes, place the front seat assembly and make sure that the inner and outer seat tracks are locked securely.
(2) Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.
(3) Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly.
(4) Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the frontmost position.
(5) Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly.
(6) Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.
(7) Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque:
37 N·m {377 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf}
(8) Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the frontmost position.
(9) Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque:
37 N·m {377 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf}
2. INSPECT SEAT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK
(1) While performing a sliding operation of the front seat assembly, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously.
(2) If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the front seat assembly installation bolts and adjust the adjuster position.
3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK OUTER COVER
4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK BRACKET INNER COVER
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT TRACK BRACKET OUTER COVER
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT TRACK BRACKET INNER COVER
7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
