CHECK SPEAKER INSTALLATION

(a) Make sure that there are no abnormalities such as looseness or play in the installation of each speaker.

(b) Make sure that there are no abnormalities with each speaker such as the presence of foreign material or tears in the paper of the speaker cone.

DETERMINE CAUSE OF NOISE

(a) Using the following diagnosis table, determine the cause of noise.

HINT:

  • Confirm that noise is not coming from outside the speaker. Make sure to perform this procedure correctly, otherwise the source of noise may be unclear resulting in the cause being misdiagnosed.
  • When performing the noise prevention procedure, start the inspection from the device with the most noise.
  • Set the radio to a frequency with no broadcast (untuned) so that the noise is more pronounced and easier to judge.

A whirring noise occurs when the air conditioner or heater is operating.

Noise from the blower motor

A click sound occurs when the horn button is pressed, and a buzzing sound is heard when pressed and held.

Clicking sound occurs synchronously with the turn signal blinking pattern

Flashing noise
