DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

- The rack and pinion power steering gear assembly stores a DTC when it detects a malfunction in the ECU and power steering system circuit.

(a) Check the DLC3.

CHECK WARNING LIGHT
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON and check the EPS warning light.
OK:
Illuminates the EPS warning light
HINT:
If the EPS warning light does not illuminate, check the EPS warning light circuit.
