(1) Remove the back door weatherstrip.
(2) Remove any non-drying sealer on the body with non-residue solvent.

(1) Align the paint marks with the positions on the body flange and install a new back door weatherstrip.

NOTICE:
- Make sure to position the paint mark correctly during installation. Failure to do so may lead to water ingress.
- After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.
HINT:
Make sure to install the parts of the back door weatherstrip near the joint and paint mark shown in the illustration first, and then install the corners.

DESCRIPTION
The 4WD ECU assembly receives signals from the steering sensor, and thereby detects
the steering angle of the steering wheel assembly to determine when the vehicle
is turning.
When an abnormal signal is received from the steering sensor, the 4WD ECU assembly
stores DTC C1297.
