CHECK PROBLEM SYMPTOM (WARNING NOTIFICATION FUNCTION)

(a) Check the problem symptom.

(1) Check the problem symptom of the warning notification function.

CHECK METER WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check that the warning light of the combination meter assembly illuminates and a message displays on the multi-information display when there is a malfunction, and do not when there is not a malfunction.

OK:

There are no problems with warning lights or warning messages.

HINT:

The warning notification function of the telematics system uses the warning notification signals sent and received by the meter/gauge system. Therefore, if the meter/gauge system is not operating normally, the warning notification function will not operate normally.
