Toyota Corolla Cross: Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Component Internal Failure (C052096,...,C117896)

Toyota Corolla Cross (2022-2024) Service Manual / Brake / Brake Control / Dynamic Control Systems / Electronically Controlled Brake System (for Gasoline Model) / Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Component Internal Failure (C052096,...,C117896)

DESCRIPTION

The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via CAN communication.

These DTCs may be stored if one of the following occurs:

  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) installation abnormality.
  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal malfunction.

DTC No.
