- The power back door system troubleshooting procedure is based on the premise that the smart key system (for Entry Function) is operating normally. Check the power back door system first before troubleshooting the power back door system.

- Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the power back door system.

INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE |
(a) Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the ignition switch off.
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
HINT:
- A simple method to determine whether the auxiliary battery is discharged is to operate the horn.
- If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding.
(b) Check the fuses and relays.
(c) Check the connector connections and terminals to make sure that there are no abnormalities such as loose connections, deformation, etc.

(a) Check whether the replacement, removal and installation of the multiplex network door ECU or disconnection of the connectors of the multiplex network door ECU, the disconnection of the cable of the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal with the back door open, or the removal and installation or replacement of the power source system fuses has been performed.
