INITIALIZATION
NOTICE:
- Make sure to perform the necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration,
initialization, or registration) after parts related to the cable has been disconnected
from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When parts related to the charging system have been removed/installed
or replaced:

CHARGING SYSTEM PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
- Check that the battery cables are connected to the correct terminals.
- Disconnect the battery cables when the battery is given a quick charge.
- Do not perform tests with a high voltage insulation resistance tester.
- Never disconnect the battery cables while the engine is running.
- Check that the charging cable nuts are tightened on terminal B of the generator
assembly and on the No. 1 engine room relay block.

CAUTION:
When engine assembly and radiator assembly are hot, do not remove the radiator cap sub-assembly.
Fluid and steam may spray out due to high pressure, possibly resulting in burns.
